The Pal Theatre
The PAL Theatre, a historic gem in downtown Vidalia, has entertained audiences since 1927. Originally built as a movie theater and performing arts venue, this iconic landmark continues to be a beloved community gathering place.
Altamaha Heritage Center
Dedicated to preserving the history of the greater Altamaha River Basin, exhibits include artifacts and information on Native Americans, moonshine, turpentine, homestead, transportation, barn implements, and a barn loom. By appointment only.
Blue Marquee Theater
The Blue Marquee, built in 1940 as a PAL Theatre, came equipped with a stage, orchestra pit area and good acoustics – ideal for live performances. Three-hundred and twenty seats, a movie screen, state-of-the-art sound equipment, and over-head projector make the facility ideal for meetings.
UGA Vidalia® Onion & Vegetable Research Center
The center was established in 1999 primarily to provide research on Vidalia onions, and 6-7 acres of research plots have been devoted to this crop every year.

Franklinia Playhouse
The Franklinia Playhouse was organized in 1976 by Dottie Brantley and a group of interested citizens for the purpose of promoting the cultural, educational, literary, and civic welfare of the community. At the time, we had no money and no venue, but that would soon change thanks to the efforts of our dedicated founders.
